    Terms And Conditions

    Vintage items are by definition, used and pre-loved.  Therefore, it is safe to assume that there may be minor issues such as scratches, chipping, and wear.  I do my best to disclose these and any other conditional issues, as well as any major repair work that I know has been done. Use the chart below to help understand my ratings of the condition of the piece.   Use photos as part of the description and since returns are mostly not accepted, ask any questions before buying.


     


    Mint/Pristine/Perfect – Like new with no flaws or wear


    Excellent – Used, with no noticeable flaws


    Very Good – Minor flaws but no repairs needed


    Good – Some wear, some flaws and/or optional repairs needed


    Fair – Numerous flaws, repairs needed, fragile


    Poor/As is – Extensive damage and in need of repairs and/or restoration if possible.


     


    Colors can vary monitor to monitor and sometimes photographs don’t accurately portray the exact shades of the stones.  Please allow for these slight variances.


    In my descriptions, all sizing info is approximate.


    Shipping


    We ship items within 1 – 3 business days after payment is made under most circumstances.  You will receive tracking information immediately after we send the package out.


    We use USPS as our carrier. In most cases, you will be able to choose if you want the package to be sent First class or Priority.


    If buying more than one item, let us know and we will be happy to combine shipping and make adjustments to your invoice.


    We are currently not shipping internationally.


    We include $100 insurance coverage on all packages. 


    All items are expertly packed and insured through Shipsurance. Please do not attempt to return an item due to shipping damage. Should it occur in spite of my careful packaging, this must be handled through Shipurance with an insurance claim. Always be sure to keep original packaging, and taking photos upon arrival is highly recommended. Please contact me if you need information to file your claim. 


    Returns


    If you feel something was clearly and substantially misrepresented contact us immediately upon delivery of package.
    Tell us how it was misrepresented with photos for reference within 24 hours.  We will review and contact you within one business day.


    If an item is accepted for return, the buyer is responsible for return postage and must also purchase tracking as proof of return.  We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee if a return is accepted.


     


    Refunds


    On the very rare occasion when a refund is warranted, the purchase price only will be refunded to the method with which the original payment was made. Shipping and insurance costs will not be refunded unless I am clearly at fault.


    Sterling – If an item is marked with sterling or .925, generally I don’t do acid testing.  However, if I suspect a piece is sterling but not marked, I do perform the acid test to confirm and will note that in the description. 


    Karat Gold – Even if an item is marked with a karat number (10k, 14k, etc) I use the acid test to verify it is so, and will note that in the description.


    Gemstones – I use a Presidium Gem Tester to identify real gemstones.  It does not designate if the stone is lab created or natural, therefore I can’t be certain.  Further, the PGT gives a range of stones based on the hardness of the stone being tested that it could be.  Some are easily identified based on colors and patterns, others are not.  All I can guarantee is that the stone is a real gemstone.
