Sold by PastSplendorsTooThis is an antique silver plated sugar spoon or sugar shell from William Rogers. It measures 5 7/8 inches long with a scrolled and floral design. Mark is Wm Rogers with a symbol. I have so far not found the name of the pattern for this spoon but it is very similar to others from the 1890s to early 1900s.
There is a fair amount of plating loss although this is such an appealing looking spoon despite that. It would make a pretty display piece for a cottage chic or shabby vintage kitchen, or use just as it was intended in a sugar bowl.
