Fabulous! Double the wearing pleasure with this vintage 1998 sterling silver and natural lapis gemstone reversible link bracelet from Relios, Inc. Manufacturing Company of Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was designed by Carolyn Pollack, one of her Southwest Spirit designs, as part of the Shalako Ceremonial, and was discontinued at some time later.
Reverse cutout designs include Moon & Star, Sun Symbol, Zuni Bear, and Turtle. To Native Americans the sun symbol represents happiness, the Zuni bear sacred healing power and the Turtle roams both land and sea carrying the weight of the World on his back, and embodies wisdom and perseverance.
Bracelet pattern starts from the sterling toggle bar, with a turtle cutout, moon & star cutout, Zia or sun symbol cutout, bear cutout and is repeated two more times to the three 16ga. jump ring closures. Lapis design alternates with round and oval cabochons in silver bezel settings.
Hallmark: Half Moon and letter R .925 (c)
Width: Round cabochon setting 1/2 inch
Length: Adjusts from 7 3/4 inches to 8 1/2 Inches
NOTE: Using smallest setting, bracelet fits loosely and comfortably on my 6 5/8 inch wrist measured just below the hand. So this should also fit a larger wrist nicely, depending on your measurement.
Condition: Very good. No faults or damage. Deep blue stones show natural color variances. Sterling shows aged patina, with a nice silvery sheen, and has not been polished.
