Victorian Pressed Metal Bar Brooch with Large Glass Purple Faceted Rhinestone offered by TheJewelSeeker on 21VintageStreet. This is a very pretty old Victorian Bar Pin. The setting is a flat pressed metal with a wheat or floral plant design. We polished this pin,but did not wash it. We wanted to leave original patina on it. No verdegris, no chips that we can see on the stone, and the hinged pin stem works well. The clasp for the pin stem is a “c” shape. It is in very good condition for a pin that is nearly 100 years old. We estimate the date on this pin to be early 1900s, pre Art Deco era. The brooch measures 2 3/4″ x 3/4″, and the center stone measures approximately 7/8″ x 5/8 and has a very nice faceted, rounded height of about 3/8″.
It’s a lovely piece with a very nice, solid crystal glass purple center stone. It is not perfect, it shows some wear, The heart ends are not as shiny as the rest of the piece, the pin stem is slightly bent, and shows meta wear. There is no verdigris that we can see. It’s a great collectible with the above mentioned issues, which will be consistent with the age of the piece.

NOTE: Clip on Earrings may need to be tightened or loosened, according to the size of ear lobes. You can obtain an “earring key” online at jewelry supply shops, or take it to your local jewelry store.

What do I do if item arrives damaged or Seller misrepresented the item?
If item arrives damage or broke, please email seller with what the damage is, and a picture or two of the broken item, the gold box and the outside packaging. We will contact you within 24 hours with further instructions.
