Sterling Silver Art Deco Vintage Flower Brooch with Amethyst February Birthstone

This is a Sterling Silver Art Deco flower brooch. The Vintage flowers each have a Amethyst gemstone in the center of the flower. Amethyst is the February birthstone. We tested the metal. The bow, stems and rim around the flower petals tested positive as 925 silver. The pin stem is not sterling silver, but may have been silver plated. The pin looks to be from the 1930’s – 1940’s late Deco era. The pin is in very good condition. The stones do not look chipped or cracked, but they have some yellowing around the edges (look like it is under the stone – a jeweler could probably do a deeper cleaning on this piece). There are a few nicks in the pin stem, but primarily could only be seen with a magnifier. Lovely old piece!
It measures 2 7/8″ x 1 3/8″, and weighs 9.2 grams
