This is a beautiful piece of pottery by Onion River Pottery Company of Vermont. The stamped signature has rubbed off the bottom but the design is distinctly Onion River. It measures approximately 3 1/2″ tall and 3″ in diameter at the widest part. It has a substantial weighty feel to it. The vessel is white with brown speckles, with a relief image in brown depicting a scene of a covered bridge and a horse and buggy. Aside from the wear to the bottom, the piece is in beautiful vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It’s a versatile size and could be used as a small vase, a holder, a honey/jam pot, or anything else you can think of!
