Blenko salad and serving bowls By Wayne Husted 1961 Virginia made glass Mid Century Modern

Sold by: Uncle TT’s Tiki Room

A beautiful Blenko salad bowl set in Olive green. First introduced by Blenko in 1961 and designed by Wayne Husted, probably THE premiere glass artist of his day, or any day for that matter. These bowls have a molded in ice like crackle texture but they are NOT crackle glass, this texture is only on the outside of the bowls. The insides are a smooth as Babies posterior. No chips cracks or visible wear. Now these are heavy, and will be costly to ship, as they will need to be in a lathe enough box as well as well packed to ensure their safe arrival to you. We also WELCOME local pick up in the Fort Lauderdale area if you or your agent are so inclined.   There are 8 pieces in this set, the one larger server bowl and 7 individual bowls.
