You are looking at an Antique Vintage Standing Horse Figurine 1920-50’s, believed to be made by Elastolin and measures 5 inches long and 3 inches tall (from shoulders). Color appears to be a bay color. Surface almost looks as if it is flocked, but its NOT. Appears to have been marked Germany in black Letters, however you can only see the Ge. and the rest of the letters look faded. No cracks or Breaks!
Elastolin is a trademark used by the German company O&M Hausser (O&M Haußer) for the toy soldiers and other types of figures it manufactured from composite material and later from plastic. The composite material was very sturdy and hard to break. The Hausser firm was founded in 1904 by Christian Hausser and his sons Otto and Max. The factory was situated in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart
